There have been a few occasions in the past few years that I have fallen and thankfully not had anything but a few bruises but the problem then is getting back up. I have such bad arthritis in both knees that it hurts too much to get on my knees. So my husband always helps to lift me back up and I am so afraid that I will cause him to get hurt. When I saw this device it just made sense to me. It would be so much easier on both people to have this to help pull someone up off the floor. As long as the person on the floor has some upper body strength they can just pull themselves up with the aid of their assistant and it would be so much easier on both people and less chance of hurting the helper. And of course this will work both ways because if my husband were to fall I can now help him to get back up if he needed help. I certainly couldn’t lift him up like he does me but I am strong enough to hold onto this assist device and let him pull himself up. It appears to be a well made product that is tough and strong but yet lightweight enough for me to very easily carry and hold on to. I think it is well designed and something that could possibly be helpful to other senior citizens.

I am 4’11” and hubby is 6’3”, and that’s why I needed this. A while back my hubby hurt his back, and the only one to help around here is… you guessed it, me. I also used it the other day to help my mom get out of my recliner. It’s easy to use I grabbed one end, had my mom grab the other, I leaned back and planted my foot, and it was a nice transition to standing. It’s comfortable to hold, lightweight, sturdy, and I tested its use with my hubby who weighs twice as much as me, and I was able to lift him with no problem. I like and recommend this product.

My wife's parents have one in their home and found it useful. When visiting they will ask to be helped out of a chair or off the couch. The don't want their hands or wrists grabbed, They always want to use lift aid. They will grab ahold of one end and holding the other someone will gently lift them up. After a couple of years we figured out that we should have one in our home so when they visit they can be comfortably lifted out of our sofas and chairs. It's a gentle safe way to help them get up. The wife and I both like it and feel stupid for not getting one sooner. It just being courteous and a good host to have one of these.

This Lift Assist Device is a Good extra helper for me.I tripped over something in my back yard.
